TRAPPN#132: Pawel Jaszczuk & sleeping Japanese businessmen
Polish-born photographer Pawel Jaszczuk has taken it upon himself to document the Japanese trend of businessmen sleeping on the streets of Tokyo. From what I can understand, this is not restricted to the streets, but also occurs in train stations. I’m assuming that the problem is that they miss the last trains of the day out of the city, and are stranded in the Tokyo’s central districts. Amiright?
OKAY, WHAT? Why don’t they get robbed? (They must!) If the problem is this visible, why doesn’t the municipal government make the trains run all night?
I don’t really know what to think.
